We're engineers who got tired of DevOps content that sounds good in theory but falls apart in production.
Top DevOps started from frustration. We spent years building and operating infrastructure at scale—seeing what works, what doesn't, and what sounds impressive but creates more problems than it solves.
Too much DevOps content is written by people who've never been woken up at 3 AM by a pager. We wanted to create something different: resources for engineers who actually ship products and keep them running.
Everything we publish comes from production experience. If we haven't done it ourselves, we don't write about it. That's the bar.
We focus on what works in production, not what looks good in diagrams.
Complexity should be justified. The simplest solution that works is usually the right one.
